# How Ash books appointments

> How Ash finds a free time, where you see appointments, and how to cancel them.

Ash books appointments and visits in the Google Calendar of each person on your team, only at free times and within your **Business hours**.

## Before you start

* Each person who takes bookings has connected their Google Calendar. [See →](/en/calendario/google-calendar.md)
* Your **Business hours** are correct. [See →](/en/calendario/horario.md)
* Your appointment types have the right length. [See →](/en/calendario/tipos-de-cita.md)

## How Ash books

1. It checks the free times in Google Calendar.
2. It offers the customer only times within your business hours.
3. When the customer picks one, it creates the appointment in the calendar.

> [!WARNING]
>
> If something blocks a person's calendar, Ash doesn't offer that time. Keep calendars up to date.

## The Calendar page

In **Calendar**, in the side menu, your whole team sees every appointment.

* **List**: filter by **All**, **Today**, **This week**, **This month** or **Overdue**.
* **Week** and **Month**: the appointments on the calendar.
* Filter by person to see each person's day.

In **Week** and **Month** you also see gray **Busy** blocks: what each person already has in their Google Calendar. Ash never books over them. They only show that the person is busy, not the event's name.

Tap an appointment to open it in the side panel. From there you can **Cancel appointment**.

## Common problems

> **Ash doesn't offer any times**
>
> Check that the calendar says **Connected** in **Team**, check your **Business hours**, and make sure there are free hours in Google Calendar.

> **Ash offers times when I don't work**
>
> Fix your **Business hours** and their time zone.
