# Appointment types and jobs

> What appointment types Ash books, how long each one lasts, and the stages of a job after the quote is accepted.

In **Settings → Appointments and jobs** you set what Ash books and what happens with a job.

## Appointment types

Each appointment type has:

* **What Ash calls it**: the name it uses with your customers.
* **How long it lasts**: the time it blocks on the calendar.
* **Asks for address**: if the appointment needs an address, Ash won't book it without one.

## Jobs

In **Jobs → After the quote is accepted** you'll find the stages a job goes through. You can rename them. They show up in **Pipeline → Jobs**. [See Pipeline →](/en/clientes/pipeline.md)
