# One customer

> Read the chat or call, check the customer panel, write yourself, and take over whenever you want.

When you open a customer, you see the conversation in the middle and their panel on the right.

## The customer panel

* Phone and WhatsApp.
* **Assigned to**: the person on your team who handles them.
* **Customer summary**: what Ash understood from the conversation.
* **Photos and files** they sent.
* **Previous calls**, with their result and length.
* Their appointments, their payments, and their payment plan. [See payments →](/en/clientes/pagos.md)

## The conversation

* On WhatsApp, the customer's messages are on the left and your business's messages are on the right.
* On a call, you see **Summary** and **Transcript**.
* **Action taken** shows up when Ash did something, like booking or looking up your information.

## Write yourself

Type in **Send a WhatsApp message…** and send. If Ash is handling the chat, confirm **Send and take over**: Ash stops replying in that chat.

## Pause or turn Ash back on

Above the chat is the **Agent replies** switch.

| If you… | This happens |
| - | - |
| Turn it off | Confirm **Pause agent**. The switch says **Agent off**. |
| Turn it on | Confirm **Turn agent back on** and Ash replies again. |

Pausing Ash only affects that conversation.

If the customer hasn't written in 24 hours, the chat shows **+24h**. [See the 24-hour rule →](/en/whatsapp/plantillas.md)
