# Payments

> Confirm the receipts your customers send, track the payment plan, and record payments by hand.

When a customer sends you their receipt on WhatsApp, Ash reads it (where they paid, how much, and when) and saves it for you to confirm.

## Confirm a receipt

**1. Open Payments to confirm**

On **Home**, under **Payments to confirm**, tap the receipt.

**2. Review it**

In **Confirm payment**, check the **Customer**, the **Amount**, the **Date**, and what it's for.

**3. Confirm it**

Tap **Confirm payment**. Ash lets the customer know.

If it's not a payment, tap **Not a payment**. To review it later, tap **Later**.

## The payment plan

A job can be paid in parts. In the customer panel, you see **Payment plan** with each part:

| Status | What it means |
| - | - |
| **Paid** | You already confirmed that payment. |
| **Pending** | It isn't due yet. |
| **Overdue** | The date passed and it didn't arrive. |
| **\$… left** | What's left to collect. |

Amounts can be in **MXN** or **USD**. If a payment isn't part of the plan, choose **Something else**.

On **Home**, you also see **Payments due**.

## Record a payment by hand

If you got paid some other way, tap **Record a manual payment**: upload the receipt, choose which payment it's for, enter the amount, how they paid, and the date, and tap **Save payment**. No one is notified.
