# Notifications

> How Ash lets you know: on WhatsApp, in the bell, and with sound.

## On WhatsApp

When Ash hands a conversation to a person, it messages the people you picked in **Settings → Ash → Team alerts → Who gets escalations** on WhatsApp.

## The bell

The bell is at the top right. It has three tabs: **All**, **Escalations**, and **Calls**. Tap **Mark all as read** to clear it.

Payments don't come as alerts: you see them on **Home**. We don't send email alerts.

## Sound for new messages

In **Settings → Notifications → In the app**, turn **Sound for new messages** on or off. It only applies to the device where you change it.
